I am not a male but
for some reason I keep getting spam advertisements for male enhancement
pills in my email. From time to time, I wonder where these spam
advertisements originate and who decides what the target audience is. I
don’t have anything in my emails or in my blog that would
suggest that I am interested in male enhancement pills but I get a lot
of mail suggesting that I desperately need this stuff.
I have tried a number of anti spam tactics to combat these
advertisements for male enhancement pills. I tried following the
“remove me from mailing list” link and I often find
myself very frustrated by not being able to quickly remove myself from
the mailing list. Many times I am quickly and conveniently removed from
the male enhancement pills advertiser’s mailing list, but
sometimes this is not a good thing.
I found that when I remove myself from one advertising list for male
enhancement pills; I wind up getting even more spam from other
companies selling the same product. I am not sure if the companies are
affiliated, and my anti spam tactics are backfiring on me. Even though
many of the advertisements wind up in my junk folder, I still get a
little annoyed with the bombardment of spam in my email for male
enhancement pills.
It is a good practice to occasionally check your junk mail folder
because you may be missing many messages that you actually want. Those
messages may be blocked by your anti spam feature that puts them into a
junk folder and you may miss important messages. I just don’t
like the idea of my checking my junk mail to find a lot of embarrassing
spam for male enhancement pills.
Many of these clever advertisements for male enhancement pills wind up
in my regular email folder. I report those as junk mail to the server.
However, I have found that more and more advertisements are sent to my
email when I report other advertisements as junk. Sometimes I will find
several advertisements in one day for the pills and it can be
embarrassing.
I care what other people think. I can’t help it. I hate the
idea of someone passing by my computer and seeing a bunch of
advertisements for male enhancement pills. Many people may think that I
requested the information. Even if I were interested in the male
enhancement pills, I would like a little discretion.
I’ll just keep deleting. I’ll keep requesting that
I be taken off of the mailing lists and I’ll continue to use
my anti spam features to combat the advertisements, but I would really
just like to find the source, or sources, and let them know that I
don’t have a penis and I really don’t need any
enhancements.
